IRIS Launch New Ultra-Miniature Flush Mounting 316 Stainless Hi-Res Camera

Marine Camera Specialists, IRIS INNOVATIONS, proudly announce the launch of their new Micro-Compact, flush mounting, stainless steel camera, the IRIS-735.

The latest release from Iris, the UK based marine camera specialists, is the world’s smallest through hull/bulkhead camera. Machined from marine grade 316L stainless steel this rugged micro camera is smaller than a golf ball, only 28mm diameter by 36mm long and is waterproof to IP67 standards.

Designed to sit flush against a surface with a bezel height of only 8.5mm and utilising a 140 degree wide angle lens it provides an ideal solution for unobtrusive surveillance where space is at a premium.

The camera module features a Sony Starlight sensor which provides excellent performance in all light conditions and it can easily be switched by the user to output various composite or analogue High-Definition video formats. Compatible with on-board chart plotters, monitors and TV screens this versatile micro camera is easily installed on board.

Its low-profile design is ideal for through-hull mounting on the sides or stern of the vessel to provide all round coverage when docking or it can be fitted to an engine room bulkhead to enable remote monitoring of the engine.

Small, rugged and very affordable, the Iris-735 micro-compact camera is the ideal solution for those looking for surveillance in tough environments.

Managing Director, Carl Hitchcock said “Our latest micro-camera is ideal for both stand alone use or as an integral part of our CMAC comprehensive on-board security and surveillance package.”
